Easterseals Louisiana has an array of housing services aligned with local Continuum of Care (CoC) Programs.  The menu of services includes:

Permanent Supportive Housing: This program offers housing stability through rental and utility assistance, along with case management support, to individuals and families experiencing homelessness who have been diagnosed with mental health conditions and/or addiction disorders.

  • R1 (New Orleans), R2 (Baton Rouge), R8 (Monroe), R7 (Shreveport)

Rapid Re-Housing: This program offers time-limited (up to 24 months) case management and rental assistance to individuals experiencing homelessness who have been diagnosed with mental health conditions and/or addiction disorders. We employ a Housing First approach, which emphasizes providing housing quickly without imposing preconditions on participants, such as poor credit, a criminal record, or employment status.

  • R1 (New Orleans), R2 (Baton Rouge), R7 (Shreveport), R8 (Monroe), R9 (Covington)

Transitional Housing: We provide this housing option for people experiencing homelessness who would benefit from a shared living community. Residents can participate in the program for up to two years. This housing is co-located with intensive case management and other wrap-around supports.
