This is a day center where individuals who are experiencing homelessness and have co-occurring substance abuse needs receive support from a Peer Support Specialist who is in long-term active recovery. Additionally, participants receive a hot meal and have access to facilities to support their personal hygiene needs. Wraparound supports include a literacy clinic, community garden, and job readiness support.
It's not just a homeless shelter, but a community center offering help and developing trust with people whose trust may be broken.
